Physiotherapy is a ‘hands on’ manual therapy and one of the best proven approaches to the treatment of joints, muscles, tendons, nerves and ligaments.
As well as practicing a wide range of manual techniques, our Physiotherapists are also are trained in the use of electro-therapy, eg. ultra-sound, laser, interferential and electro-magnetic therapies.
Our experienced Chartered Physiotherapists have undergone a minimum of three years full time training at University. We are involved in treatment of a huge range of different complaints, but the most common are:
Spinal problems – including protruding/ prolapsed discs, etc.
Joint problems – arthritis, injury, pain, swelling, stiffness.
Sports injuries – to muscle, ligament, cartilage, capsule and tendon problems.
Personal injuries – accidents occurred from falls, driving or work related. Click here for more information
Surgery – hip replacements, general physiotherapy following surgery and scar tissue treatment.
Visiting a physiotherapist and commencing treatment early on can mean a quicker recovery with less time away from work or sport.
Our physiotherapists are registered with the Health Professions Council, which since 2004 has strictly regulated all it’s medical practitioners. The HPC can take away all the confusion when seeking a medical practitioner, especially if you are not familiar with all the different qualifications practitioners have.
